Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan has reported an initial estimate of outstanding ballots to be processed during the official canvass period.
The initial estimate includes provisional and Vote by Mail ballots collected at the polls, as well as Vote by Mail ballots received in the mail post marked on or before Election Day.

Outstanding ballots will be processed, verified and tallied during the Official Election Canvass period. The preliminary count of unprocessed ballots will be updated in the next 48 hours to include Vote by Mail ballots, precinct ballots not included in the semi-official tally and ballots with votes for write-in candidates.
Election results are subject to change throughout the Official Election Canvass period. The first canvass update will be released on Friday, 11/11.
