When Real Life Church opened the doors to its facility in April 2010, the Valencia congregation wasn’t quite done. Later this month, “phase two” additions are set to begin on the church’s outdoor amphitheater.
The amphitheater, which seats approximately 1,000 people, will be covered with sails to provide comfortable shade and decks added for additional seating. When construction ends in October, the amphitheater will be one of only a few large, covered outdoor venues in the Santa Clarita Valley.
“This new outdoor space will now have more shade, dimmable lights for nighttime ambience, deck space to enjoy Undergrounds coffee, and more,” says Jeremy Vanderlinden, Executive Pastor at Real Life. “All this was designed with future hopes of adding an outdoor screen for people to view our Sunday services outside.”
Located at 23841 Newhall Ranch Road, Real Life Church’s amphitheater is available for rent for outdoor concerts, weddings, and more. The building—its meeting rooms, 1,190-seat auditorium, or coffee house—can be reserved as well. Rental rates are available at www.reallifechurch.org, or by contacting Real Life’s Events Coordinator, Kim Tarlton, at ktarlton@reallifechurch.org.
