[KHTS] – A Valencia woman was killed in a motorcycle collision on the Interstate 405 near Roscoe Boulevard on Monday at about 8:45 p.m., officials with the California Highway Patrol West Valley Area Office said Tuesday.

Sharry K. Friel, 50, was traveling northbound on I-405 when her 2009 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a disabled 2011 BMW in the leftmost lane, driven by Craig Varner, 27, of Newhall.

Friel was ejected from the vehicle into the adjacent lane, where she was hit by an oncoming car driven by Alyson Wells, 23, of North Hills.
