Temperatures are rising and Honda wants to help you cool down with some free ice cream in honor of National Ice Cream Month on Sunday.

On Sunday, residents around Santa Clarita should look out for the big, blue Free Ice Cream Truck at busy parks and public locations – including Swim Beach at Castaic Lake, Santa Clarita Skate Park and  Newhall Park with complimentary frozen treats to help kids of all ages beat the heat.

The Helpful Honda Ice Cream Truck will be filled with delicious assortments of FREE frozen treats for everyone –from bomb pops and big dippers, to ice cream sandwiches and fruit bars– at various community activities, parks, sporting events, concerts, and other hot summer locations around SoCal cities every week until Labor Day.

And the Free Ice Cream Truck may show up at your event, too. SoCal Residents are invited to reach out on Facebook/SoCalHondaDealers or Twitter/helpfulHonda with details about an event in your area (include date & location) and the Ice Cream Truck may show up. Just tag #HelpfulHonda #FreeIceCream.                                  hondaice

Follow Helpful Honda on Twitter (@HelpfulHonda) and www.facebook.com/SoCalHondaDealers for clues on where and when the Guys in Blue will be giving out complimentary Ice Cream this weekend and other cities for the rest of summer.

Why? Cooling off SoCal residents with free ice cream is just another way the SoCal Honda Dealers are continuing their commitment to Random Acts of Helpfulness, for the 9th consecutive year. The Guys in Blue are always looking for ways to lend a hand. From surprising moms with manicures and massages at Helpful Honda Pop-Up Spas; saying thank you to teachers with over $25,000 worth of school-supplies over Teacher Appreciation Week; and offering seat upgrades to fans at Dodger’s games; to finding homes for over 250 pets over Pet Adoption month; cleaning up litter at local parks; or carrying groceries for residents, it’s their job to be helpful – no strings attached.
