Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a juvenile male and he has been charged with attempted murder after a Canyon Country beating and stabbing incident Sunday evening, according to officials.
On Sunday, November 12, at approximately 5:49 p.m., the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station received a call of a victim being assaulted with a baseball bat, and stabbed, on the 19400 block of Stillmore Street in Canyon Country.
Several patrol units responded to the emergency call along with Los Angeles County Fire personnel.
The victim, a 57-year-old male, was found at the location suffering from multiple stab wounds, and was transported to a local hospital.
The subject (suspect) fled the location prior to the deputies’ arrival. Investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by a 17-year-old male of Canyon Country.
Deputies were able to make contact with the juvenile’s family members, and the father of the teen eventually brought him to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station later Sunday evening.
The 17-year-old boy was charged with attempted murder, and transported to Sylmar Juvenile Hall.

We need tougher knife laws.
If he’s under 18 he won’t be doing any time. Living in Santa Clarita…… 99% chance his parents are loaded meaning disposable income he’s probably already home

Just because you’re charged with something that doesn’t mean you’re convicted. He has to be convicted in a court of law if he’s smart he’ll go to trial and be judged by a group of his peers
Innocent until proven guilty only if you have a lot of money. Big bucks right there. People get away with murder.
