Who is eligible to adopt these babies? What is the process?
Cory, you need to be a licensed foster parent in the county you reside in or are nearest to. You can then wait on a list to adopt…. but please don’t hesitate to foster in the meantime. =)
Hi Cory I’m going through the process now at Penny Lane Foster /Adoption now. We need you! There are over 35,000 kids in LA county alone that need a home! 11,000 are infants!!
If you have any questions, please ask or contact my recruiter. :-)
Thank you all. I have one son, and my wife and I were thinking maybe to adopt for our 2nd and 3rd. We live on a ranch with lots of animals, and think it would be a great place to raise kids.
Cory Lagusker your loving heart and willingness to love is all any baby needs to grow, the ranch, animals and siblings are just an added bonus. Wishing you and your wife great success at adding to your family.
We have fostered 11 children, adopted one and are adopting a second. You will never regret your time being a foster parent.
Thanks for your contact information Carla Jung Campbell! We already have three boys and always discuss adopting more. If you’re thinking of a 4th Cory Lagusker, I’m available! Lol Am jokes aside, I was raised on a small farm just north of Los Angeles and I think I had the best childhood ever!
Hi Carla Jung Campbell, I remember you from class Saturday. It was our first one. Hope to start the next set of classes.
We have class tonight!! ^^^^^ see you there Sabrina??
Good to hear! Hope momma is ok. You did the right thing?
Sweet little ANGEL!
Hope the mom is ok and that God watches over her. She did the right thing for her baby and that is great.
Amen!
Bless her for doing this,at least she has a heart and cares about her baby
Amen ?
Just wondering. Without a birth certificate how exactly would they know 3 day old from a 4 day old etc? Would they turn a baby away when someone clearing does not want it?
Kind of makes no sense.
And if there were signs of abuse but the person was trying to hand over the baby because they could not handle it or were trying to escape a batterer what would happen?
”
It allows someone to surrender an infant that is no more than three days old, as long as the infant shows no signs of abuse.
