Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit

 

This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:

(2) Aggravated Assaults, (1) Robbery, (1) Commercial Burglary, (1) Vehicle Burglary, (1) Theft From an Unlocked Vehicle, (1) Shoplift, (1) Grand Theft, (1) Petty Theft and (1) GTA.

An aggravated assault occurred near the 26500 block of Kandi Court. Two family members were involved in a fight and when the fight escalated, the suspect produced a knife. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies and the case is currently under investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station Detectives.

A strong arm robbery occurred near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. The suspect fought with loss prevention personnel as they attempted to detain him for shoplifting. The suspect was subsequently arrested by responding deputies.

A commercial burglary occurred near the 19000 block of Soledad Canyon Road. An unknown suspect shattered the front glass door with a rock. Upon entering the location, the suspect broke into the cash register and took an undisclosed amount of money.

A vehicle burglary occurred at the Park and Ride near Golden Valley Road and the 14 Freeway. An unknown suspect “punched” the driver’s door lock to gain entry into the vehicle and took several pieces of electronic equipment.

A female suspect was arrested for a petty theft/shoplift near the 18600 block of Via Princessa. The suspect was detained by loss prevention personnel after she exited the location, failing to pay for items she concealed in her purse.

A 1992 Honda Prelude was stolen near the 19000 block of Stillmore Street. The vehicle was recovered nearby, shortly after the incident.
