LANCASTER, Calif. – had six hits for the JetHawks, but the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes rallied late for a second consecutive night and hung on for a 6-5 victory in 11 innings on Friday evening at The Hangar.
It was the first six-hit game for the JetHawks since Willie Bloomquist accomplished the feat on April 1, 2000 against Lake Elsinore. Daza picked up three singles, two doubles, and a triple, finishing 6-for-6. He had two RBI and scored twice.
The JetHawks had 15 hits as a team in the contest. Daza recorded his sixth hit on an infield single to shortstop to open the bottom of the 11th. He ended up stranded on second base, as Wes Rogers flied out to center field to end the game.
Lancaster took a 4-2 lead to the eighth inning, but the Quakes scored three times to take their first lead of the game. Brandon Montgomery delivered a two-run single to highlight the frame. The JetHawks tied the game in the bottom of the eighth on Chris Rabago’s sacrifice fly.
The JetHawks loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the ninth, but were unable to push a run across to win the game.

Lancaster struck first in the opening inning on a sacrifice fly by Roberto Ramos. They doubled their lead in the third. Garrett Hampson drew a two-out walk and Daza followed with the first of his two RBI doubles.
With the game tied 2-2 into the bottom of the sixth, Daza tripled to lead off the frame and scored on an RBI single by Sam Hilliard. Daza’s second RBI double made it 4-2 in the seventh.
Jesus Tinoco started for Lancaster and tossed six strong innings, striking out five. The right-hander allowed just two runs on three hits. Max Schuh (1-5) suffered the loss in relief for the JetHawks. Michael Boyle (2-0) threw the final two innings for Rancho Cucamonga to earn the win.
