Football season is almost here, Santa Clarita, and to get you ready, SCVTV will televise a one-hour high school football preview.
Presented by Nissan of Valencia, the show premieres Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 8 p.m. and can be seen every day through the month of August.
Award-winning sportscaster Dave Caldwell, now entering his 15th year of Santa Clarita high school football broadcasts, hosts the program.
“The most common word we heard in all of the summer camps this year is ‘young,’” Caldwell said. “Nearly every team is looking to very talented, younger players.”
All eight Santa Clarita high school football teams will be presented, including Canyon, Golden Valley, Hart, Santa Clarita Christian, Saugus, Trinity Classical Academy, Valencia and West Ranch.
