Please come see our fresh new look when we reopen in January for our artists’ reception, “ said Mardi Georgio, co-chair. Some of the art you’ll see:
• Laurie Finkelstein – “My landscapes showcase atmospheric subtleties in non-traditional perspectives on small canvases. Her art is titled, Mini Pink Sky.”
• Mardi Georgio -“Winter Sunrise is a pastel landscape of the freshly fallen snow that fell in the night and is being colored by the rising sun.”
• Lynda Frautnik – “My current media is alcohol ink. I love its vibrant colors and its unpredictable nature. This painting is entitled Spring Magnified.
In addition, SCAA art exhibits can be viewed monthly at The Canyon Theatre Guild, Samuel Dixon Healthcare, and annually at Le Chene, Hart Park, Newhall Library, City Hall First Floor Gallery, throughout the Hyatt Regency Valencia, artsy craft boutiques and in other venues around Santa Clarita.
For community outreach, the SCAA provides monthly art demos and workshops and several of our members teach privately and at local schools.
