Newhall, Zone 6
Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information
Snapshot for 04/15/2013 through 04/21/2013
As the weather warms up, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station generally see an increase in activity in our community as more people are enjoying being outdoors. Unfortunately, we also tend to see a rise in criminal activity during the summer months. Now is the time to always remember to lock your doors and windows, secure your vehicles, and never leave you valuables in plain view (especially in parked vehicles). Remember to always close and lock garage doors, and if you see any suspicious activity or vehicles in your neighborhood, please call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station immediately at 661-255-1121.

The victim drove himself to seek medical care. The victim found the suspects had stolen an air compressor, a generator, golf clubs and other items. The investigation is ongoing (ref -05286).
