Home to some of the region’s best farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and specialty food items, the Farmers Market returns to Old Town Newhall on Thursday, March 1, in a new location on Main Street, between Market and 8th Street.
Hosted every Thursday night, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., this season’s Farmers Market offers even more produce, specialty items, handmade craft items, family-friendly activities, entertainment, and a new operator. With a reputation as one of the best market operators in the state, Coastal Pacific manages markets in the Los Angeles, Riverside and Ventura counties, as well as the Northridge Market, which is one of the largest in the country.
After strolling through the Farmers Market, enjoy an evening of distinctive art and hands-on experiences at Art Walk, located along Main Street between 6th Street and 9th Street. Hosted every first Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Art Walk features works by local and regional artists, live entertainment, gourmet food trucks as well as art galleries displaying notable paintings, drawings, and photographs.
Thursday nights continue in Old Town Newhall with a “Luck o’ the Irish” themed block party at SENSES held on Thursday, March 15. Hosted every third Thursday, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., SENSES is a monthly themed block party where live music and entertainment, food trucks, activities, and more get the weekend started off right.
