With 2017 fast approaching, New Years Eve festivities have begun popping up more quickly than champagne bottles on December 31 and many Santa Clarita establishments have also joined in on throwing a proper welcome party for the new year.
From restaurants to wine bars to a comedy show, a variety of events throughout Santa Clarita makes it simple and fun to celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of a new one.
Restaurants like Salt Creek Grille, Marston’s Valencia, and Le Chene are all offering up their own New Year’s Eve parties: Salt Creek Grille is hosting the G3 Band to let patrons rock out all night, as well as providing a complimentary champagne toast at midnight; Marston’s Valencia’s Chef Jim is preparing New Year’s Eve specials such as “Swordfish with Artichoke Risotto, Red Pepper, Kalamata Olive, [and] Mint Relish” or “Wild Mushroom [and] Pancetta Salad with Crispy Yams [and] Ricotta Salata”; and Le Chene is hosting a “New Year’s Eve Comedy, Magic Extravaganza, and Dinner” where attendees will enjoy dinner and a “Improv Comedy and Magic Show” by Sharpo productions.
Local eateries are not the only ones offering up New Years Eve parties: Valencia Wine Company and Wine 661 are also throwing their own spirited bashes to celebrate the coming year.
Valencia Wine Company is bringing the Grammy nominated artist Gary Myrick for a night of music and celebration. Wine 661 is also bringing the live music to its annual New Years Eve bash, with tunes from The Sean Hughes Band rocking until and after the clock strikes midnight.
For a bash of Gatsby-era proportions, head to the TPC for their “Midnight at Gatsby’s” New Years Eve party: for $150, a gourmet four-course menu, live entertainment provided by “Party of 6” and champagne toast at midnight will bring 2017 in with 1920s era style.
However, champagne and dancing are not the only options for New Years Eve bashes in Santa Clarita: JR’s Comedy Club is ringing in the New Year with laughter with double headliners in the banquet room at Embassy Suites. Not only will attendees have a full course dinner buffet and plenty of comedy to keep the laughter going till midnight, there will be two New Year’s celebrations: the East Coast New Year’s from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., celebrating with a countdown at 9 p.m. as if in Times Square, and the West Coast New Year from 8:15 p.m. till 2017.
