Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit

[LASD] – There were four reported larcenies for this week. Two vehicles were broken into and personal items were taken. In both cases the items were left in plain view. A resident off of Constitution Avenue had prescription medication taken while out of town for the weekend.

Two backpacks were taken off of rides at Magic Mountain, U.S currency and cell phones were stolen and then recovered when the suspects were seen by the Victim carrying her purse.

Notable arrest: Two male juveniles were arrested at Magic Mountain for the theft of the above mentioned backpacks.

Make sure to always close your garage doors and lock your vehicles. Do not leave any personal items in plain view. If you need to leave personal items in the car, secure them in the trunk. Be vigilant! If you see any suspicious activity, call the Sheriff’s station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
