Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are looking Friday for the driver of a silver Chrysler 300 with front-end damage, said Traffic Sgt. Rich Cohen of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Apprartently, he ran into two kids, one on a Razor (scooter) and another (who was riding) a Hello Kitty cruiser,” Cohen said.
The incident occurred Thurday at 5:20 p.m. in the crosswalk at Decoro Drive and Seco Canyon Road, near Santa Clarita Elementary School and Santa Clarita Park.
The principal victim was a 7- or 8-year-old girl who sustained minor injuries, Sheriff’s officials said. She was treated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
The driver was described as a 30- to 40-year-old while male.
