Snapshot for 03/04/13 through 03/10/13

 

This week Newhall (Zone 6) saw eight part-one crimes. Newhall had one assault, three stolen vehicles, three petty thefts, and one vehicle burglary.

During the night time hours on Monday, March 4th 2013 a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle was stolen (ref -03087).

On Sunday, March 10th 2013 a petty theft was reported from the area of Wabuska Drive and Hawbryn Drive in Newhall. The victim stated he is a taxi driver. He transported the suspect from Camarillo to Newhall. The victim stated the suspect told him she would pay him for cab service at the end of the route to Newhall. The victim stated once he arrived in Newhall, the suspect jumped out of the taxi cab and ran behind a mobile home and out of view. The suspect is described as a white female, 5’10, 130 pounds (ref -80022).

A vehicle burglary was reported from the 23400 Newhall Avenue on Sunday, March 10th 2013. The victim’s purse was left on the front passenger seat of the vehicle. The window was shattered on the vehicle. (ref- 03333).

Over ten arrests were made in Newhall during past week. Deputies continue to partner with Newhall residents to keep crime low in the Newhall (Zone 6) area. I hope everyone has a great week.     Thanks very much for the info.

    Are trends too sensitive to post? These numbers in isolation don’t tell me very much. Are those crimes more than last week/month/year etc?
