1903 - President Teddy Roosevelt visits Gov. Henry Gage at Acton Hotel [story]
Acton Hotel

cat-rescueTwo alert Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Deputies approached a suspicious car behind a closed business Saturday night. The occupants of the vehicle were in possession of narcotics.

As the deputies were searching the vehicle, they found a cat buried upside-down in a cat carrier. As they removed the cat out of carrier, they were shocked to see that the cat’s paws were each individually taped with electrical tape and then both of the cat’s front and rear legs were bound together.

The helpless cat could not move and was “meowing loudly in discomfort” as the deputies worked quickly to free him. Animal Control Officers came and took the cat and the owner is facing additional animal cruelty charges.

Animal cruelty/ abuse is now classified as a felony. They better throw the book at these A-holes. http://barkpost.com/animal-cruelty-felony/

  22. This is so sad. I hope they were thrown in a jail cell and that their arms and legs are taped and they are laying in it upside down like they did to this precious fur baby. God bless this kitty and hope it finds a new loving home. As for those scumbags, may they rot in hell !!!

  23. Shirley says:

join my animal lovers group on facebook, it is called “Furever Love” I hate animal abusers, and drug addicts.

  24. If they do things like that to animals, they are a danger to people, sick!

  25. Matt Bilyeu says:

At a minimum, the people that did this should publicly have their limbs bound together with electrical tape and then hog tied and hung up for all to see.

  26. Too many dumb ass people out there! This is what happens when the Government butts in and starts taking care of everyone. Survival of the fittest!

  27. What is wrong with people?! That poor baby :( so happy the sheriff’s rescued it and that the couple is being charged accordingly. Didn’t federal law just make animal cruelty a felony?

  28. omg i hate these kind of people they should be treated same

  29. Those 2 should be taped up like this & left that way!! They should not be allowed to own pets ever again!!!!

  30. Poor Kitty. I’d love to give it a home if my fiancé wasn’t so allergic. But God, someone who would do this to an animal…deserves the worst.

  31. Birgit Mains says:

I wish more people go to Gail for animal abuse!!!
