[LASD] – This week we had a strong-arm robbery from the 26500 block of Carl Boyer Drive on Monday at approximately 3:30 p.m. The suspect pulled a game system out of the victim’s hands and fled the location. The game system was later recovered. Santa Clarita detectives are actively working the case with suspect information.
There were three thefts from vehicles over the past week. On Thursday night, between 7:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., there were two thefts from vehicles. One occurred at the 22500 block of Festividad Drive. The other theft was less than one-quarter of a mile away in a local church parking lot. There was over $950 worth of property taken from each vehicle. In both cases, high dollar items were kept in highly visible areas in the vehicles.
There was also an attempted vehicle burglary at the 28100 block of Shelter Cove Drive between Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7:00 a.m. The suspect tried to pry open the front driver’s door of the vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the driveway at the residence.
There was a residential burglary on Friday at the 27600 block of Susan Beth Way at 3:25 a.m. The suspect attempted to enter the residence through an unlocked dog access door.
There was an arson incident in the 22400 block of Pamplico Drive on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. A juvenile was detained and admitted to accidentally setting the fire.
