Mark your calendars for Child & Family Center’s ninth annual Kid Expo, Sunday, Oct. 14, at Golden Valley High School, 27051 Robert C. Lee Parkway in Canyon Country, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for each adult and FREE for children.  The event is presented by The Magazine of Santa Clarita and the Hafizi Family. Each year over 7,000 attend this much anticipated event. Every dollar raised goes directly to Child & Family Center, which provides mental health and behavioral services to over 850 local children each week.

Kid Expo features over 100 exhibitors from the Santa Clarita Valley showcasing services and activities for children.  From sports to karate, dance to art, gymnastics to books and tutors, kids and parents can discover the many activities available for kids.

There’s something for the whole family to enjoy at Kid Expo. Enjoy the Wild Animal Show by Jeff Lee Working Wildlife. Touch live sea creatures in Aquarium of the Pacific’s Mobile Tide Pool Exhibit.  Have fun in Disney’s Imagination Playground. Keep the beat in the Remo Drum Circle. Navigate through the inflatable obstacle course. Shake hands with Magic Mountain’s characters. Ride the rails on the Kiddie Train.

In addition, there will be fun, games, arts and crafts, reading and storytelling, art, music, sports and entertainment.  Local kids will perform dance, gymnastics, karate and more on stage.
