A Southern Californa Edison equipment failure that occurred Sunday night is leaving a few dozen customers without power Monday, according to utility officials.
“There was a bad run of cable, so they have to replace the cable and they’re having a difficult time,” according to Anna Frutos-Sanchez, spokeswoman for Southern California Edison. The outages are located on Nadal Street, near Whites Canyon Road, she said.
Technicians plan to have power restored by 6 p.m., she said.
Approximately 1,148 customers were initially left without power after unscheduled outages were reported in Canyon Country, according to officials with Southern California Edison.
“We have a report of a line down, and some of our equipment failed on White Canyon Road near Pleasantdale and Bakerton,” Frutos Sanchez said Sunday.
