Cycling and disabled community advocate Kevin Korenthal was training for a triathlon when he was hit by a car traveling 45 mph on Sand Canyon Road.
The community continues to come together in support of Korenthal and his family. On Thursday, Jan. 10, from 3 p.m. to7 p.m., Kupcake Kitchen in Saugus will be donating percentage of every cupcake and “pupcake” (for dogs) sale to the Korenthal family. Cupcakes are available on first come, first serve basis and only while supplies last.

Family friend Courtney Brayton also created the website, BlessKevin.com, where members of the community can donate money or sign up to bring meals to the family. Monetary donations are being accepted through YouCaring.com (here). They are currently $3,550 away from their $10,000 goal.
“It’s been fun to see how the community has come around Kevin and his family,” Brayton said. She commented that even people who don’t know Korenthal have stepped up to help.
