A robbery occurred in the 26000 block of Brooken Avenue. While the victims were moving furniture into the home, the suspects entered the home, detained the victims and stole their property. The investigation is ongoing.

A hot prowl burglary occurred in the 18000 block of Annes Circle. While the victim was standing on the stairs of her home she heard the door knob jiggle, she then saw the suspect enter her home. When the suspect saw the victim he ran out of the location. A residential burglary occurred from Ness Drive and Sara Street. The victim’s car keys were left in the garage after the car was parked in a visitor’s parking space. The suspect stole the keys from the garage and stole the vehicle. Two days later, deputies saw the vehicle on Sand Canyon Road and went in pursuit of the stolen vehicle. The suspect crashed the vehicle and fled the area. Deputies located the suspect hiding in a rear yard. The suspect was arrested. A residential burglary occurred in the 27300 block of Rock Rose Lane between July 11th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. and July 13th, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. The front door was kicked in and an Xbox was stolen. A commercial burglary occurred from the Lowes store. Two suspects were arrested for stealing tools from several home improvements stores.

A petty theft occurred in the 27800 block of Solamint Road. A bicycle was stolen from the patio area.

A vehicle burglary occurred in the 28900 block of Silver Saddle Circle. A carpet cleaner machine was stolen from the vehicle. Entrance was made by breaking the lock on the passenger side door.

A 1996 Acura Integra was stolen from Sandy Drive and Jakes Way. The vehicle was recovered by CHP-AV the next day.

An incident of arson occurred in the 18000 block of Sundowner Way. The rear passenger area of a 1999 Lincoln Navigator was burned. The window was left partially down and the sunroof was left open.

There has been an increase in residential burglaries. Some victims left the front door unlocked or left the side garage door leading into their home unlocked. ALWAYS lock your doors and windows and place a padlock on your gates leading into your yard. Continue to lock your garage doors and make sure to also lock your vehicle. Do not leave any personal property visible in your car. If you have to leave it in the car, secure it in the trunk.

Make sure to always park in well-lit areas and be cognizant of your surroundings. If you see any suspicious activity either close to your home or while you are out shopping, call the Sheriff’s station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
