The public is cordially invited to attend an informational meeting on Saturday, Jan. 18, about Covered California, the California plan for affordable health care.
The meeting will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Stevens Episcopal Church, 24901 Orchard Village Road.
Get your questions answered about this new plan: What kind of quality of health care will I receive? Will I be able to choose my own doctor? How much is it going to cost me? Do I have to purchase health care under this plan? How do I get my family enrolled?
Representatives from the Covered California will be available to answer your questions about this new health care system and to assist you in beginning the enrollment process.
This non-partisan event is sponsored by the Democratic Alliance for Action. For information call 661-309-4DAA (4322).

Didn’t someone once say “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”? lol
…..and wasn’t it supposed to be “affordable?”
Great news! I ‘d like accurate and helpful information. Thanks dems for your sponsorship
This is posted as a non-partisan event. I am certain that if a local Republican group or a local community group just interested in passing along accurate information wants to be a co-sponsor that offer would be well received.
It is the law. Let’s at least try to make it work!
I am really looking forward to the opportunity to hear information from the experts about the new health care plan!
