If you talk to any of our students, it is evident that they love The Master’s College and the biblical, academically rigorous and personalized education they receive here.

But now the statistics have confirmed it: TMC has the happiest students of any Christian college in America.

Christian Post-Secondary Education, a website that evaluates Christian schools from a number of different angles, has ranked TMC No. 1 for overall student happiness among the 34 top schools in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, based data from popular site Rate My Professors.

Similarly, The Master’s College came in first for student choice, based on the surveys conducted by Parchment.

Master’s also ranked well in admission and financial aid categories. Among the 34 schools, we were named #2 for students who graduate with the least debt, according to data provided by College InSight.

Christian Post-Secondary, founded by two Christian faculty members at the University of Northern Iowa, synthesizes college data from a number of different websites. By comparing the different ranking methods of sites like Forbes, U.S. News and World Report, Rate My Professors and Niche (formerly College Prowler), they seek to provide a broader picture of how Christian colleges rank across the web.

“While researching academic leadership, (cofounder Dr. Richard Featherstone) recognized that while there are plenty of good resources on higher education in general, there is a scarcity of timely, accurate, and unbiased material focused on Christ-centered institutions of higher education. This website has been designed to help fill in this gap,” according to the site’s homepage.

Their study, which spanned August to December, 2014, focused on 34 CCCU member schools that were also ranked on Forbes’ “America’s Top Colleges” list.

In addition to being named No. 1 in students’ choice and happiness, and in the overall top 10 out of 34, The Master’s College ranked highly in several other categories.

TMC tied for second place with College of the Ozarks for average professor rating on Rate My Professors, scoring 4.07 on a 5.00 scale.

TMC also ranked with a 40.12 percent yield rate, according to ApplyMap, which put the school among Christian Post-Secondary’s top 10. “Yield” refers to the percentage of admitted students who actually enroll.

Niche ranks colleges in categories such as campus housing and campus quality.

Christian Post-Secondary listed those Christian schools that received an A- or higher for housing, campus quality and overall grade from Niche.com. TMC was named in each of these categories.

Based their entire body of data, specifically the number of categories in which TMC made the top 10, Christian Post-Secondary named the College No. 2 among 34 schools, second only to Wheaton College.
