This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
An arson occurred near the 26800 block of Sierra Highway. A vehicle was found completely burnt near the above location. The incident was determined to be an arson by detectives. This incident is currently under investigation by Los Angeles County Arson Explosives detectives.
A grand theft auto occurred near the 27500 block of Bernina Avenue. The victims vehicle was taken while parked near the above location. A short time later, the stolen vehicle was found parked near the 18800 block of Wellhaven Street. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 18200 block of Mandan Street. Person(s) unknown pried open a community mail box which belongs to a business near the above location. During the time of the report, it is unknown if any mail was taken. . This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A petty theft occurred near the 18900 block of Nearbrook Street. Person(s) unknown stole the victims laptop computer from his living room. According to the victim, numerous people have access to his residence, and there was no evidence of forced entry into the location. . This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
