After being closed for several months, the Orchard Village Road entrance to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is now open.
Santa Clarita Mayor Marsha McLean helped celebrate the re-opening of the road. The closure was necessary to accommodate road and traffic work needed to improve access to the hospital’s campus.
Henry Mayo and the City of Santa Clarita worked together to bring about these improvements which included adding a lane on the southbound side of McBean Parkway. The project entailed relocating water mains, street lights, and sidewalks.
Patients, visitors and staff can now use this entrance to access healthcare services provided on the hospital’s growing campus. For the convenience of patients and visitors, Henry Mayo recently opened a second parking structure which is immediately accessible via the Orchard Village entrance. As with all parking on the hospital’s campus, parking in the new structure is free.
Henry Mayo appreciates the Santa Clarita Valley community’s patience as we continue to build for your health.
