Dr. Castro’s presentation to VIA focuses on the important issue of veterans finding employment in the traditional work community following
their military service.
As Chair of a NATO research group on Military Veteran Transitions, Dr. Castro’s current outreach efforts focus on assessing the effects of combat and operations tempo (OPTEMPO) on soldier, family and unit readiness, and evaluating the process of service members’ transition from military to civilian life. He will share some of his groundbreaking work with guests at the VIA luncheon on Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
