Here are a few home safety tips to keep in mind:

* Always keep your home entry way well lit.

* Trim trees and shrubs so that they cannot be used as hiding spaces for burglars.

* Make use of your peepholes, and do not unlock the door until you know who it is.

* Install sturdy dead bolt locks, and use them.

* Be sure all members in your household (including minors) have the Sheriff’s Station non-emergency number programmed in their cellular phones. (SCV Sheriff’s Station #661-255-1121)

I encourage you to pass these safety tips along to family and friends, and as always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
