Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit

 

Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch:

(1) Robbery, (1) Vehicle Burglary and (4) Shoplift.

A strong arm robbery occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. A male suspect fought with loss prevention personnel as they attempted to detain him for shoplifting. The suspect fled the location in a white Honda Accord. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 25300 block of Chiquella Lane. An unknown suspect shattered the rear passenger window of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then entered the trunk through the rear seat and took two suitcases and a laptop computer.

A shoplift/burglary occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. Loss prevention personnel detained two female juveniles when they exited the location, failing to pay for several items. The juveniles were subsequently detained and transported to the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s station by responding deputies.

A shoplift/burglary occurred near the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road. A female suspect exited the location, failing to pay for two women’s purses. The suspect was seen leaving the location in a white Toyota Yaris. The case is under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.

A petty theft/shoplift occurred near the 25600 block of The Old Road. A male suspect exited the location, failing to pay for a shopping bag filled with clothes. The suspect left the location in a lowered, black GMC Sierra pickup truck.

A petty theft/shoplift occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. Loss prevention personnel flagged down deputies driving through the parking lot and directed them to the suspect. After determining a crime had in fact occurred, the deputies arrested the suspect.
