There isn’t a single one of Hillary Clinton’s campaign talking points that is supported by her behavior.
First is her “war on women” theme, paired with her history of pro-feminism — I am woman, hear me roar.
Hillary’s “protecting females” stance is perplexing.
Hillary made her new position at the onset of her First Lady days in 1993 quite clear. She boasted she wasn’t going to have teas and bake cookies; she’d have an office in the West Wing.
There was much controversy over her demand to use her maiden name; she was Hillary Rodham Clinton. Period.
Now as a presidential candidate in need of Bill Clinton’s legacy, the name Rodham is shelved. No one is using her maiden name, least of all her.
The second feminist confusion is her need to stay with a decades-long serial philanderer. It isn’t like he had three, four or six lapses; it’s who Bill is.
Hillary protectors say she gets a gold star for tenacity and working out her marital issues. That belief would be based on the assumption Bill has cured his overactive libido and is keeping his hands to himself.
It’s hard to imagine that any rational person truly believes that.
There’s a new Florida lawsuit involving Bill Clinton’s billionaire friend, Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein owns a private Island, Little St. James, famous for its orgies.
TheDailyMail.com (April 19, 2016) cites flight logs that “pinpoint” Bill’s travels to the island on Epstein’s jet between 2002 and 2008. Bill was a frequent flier. A cool-down occurred when Epstein was arrested in 2008 for his “illegal sexual partners” and “solicitation of underage prostitutes.” He pleaded down to solicitation and served 18 months in jail and had to register as a sex offender.
Hillary defenders would ask, “So what does this have to do with Hillary?”
One, it blows her feminism stance for the falsehood it is; two, the Epstein antics occurred while she was a New York senator who evidently just turned her head to it all; and three, one can only imagine Bill’s antics back in the White House as First Gentleman; and four, Hillary has no problem inflicting that on the American people.
No doubt, Hillary would claim she didn’t know about any or all of the women. Many of Bill’s women would dispute that, as do authors of books about the Clintons.
Hillary wasn’t blind to Gennifer Flowers (a 12-year mistress), Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Anita Broderick or Monica Lewinsky, to name a few, yet her mission wasn’t to dump the perpetrator; it was to destroy the prey. Those women had to be annihilated.
Bill would have escaped the Monica Lewinsky ordeal but for the famous blue dress. He didn’t escape Paula Jones, either.
The Clintons paid Paula Jones about $900,000. The lawsuit extended to Bill being found guilty of obstruction of justice, perjury, a court-mandated fine of $90,000, impeachment by the House of Representatives and his Arkansas law license.
In Hillary’s own words, “What difference does it make?”
It all speaks to Hillary’s endless string of hollow words and promises. Moreover, it is evidence of her veracity. If she were the strong, experienced, independent woman she fronts to be, Bill would be her baggage, not her asset.
Hillary might be a good politician, but the disarray of her personal life would be a considerable distraction. She independently evinces her lack of leadership skills, courage and desire to control personal and professional matters.
Under Sec. Hillary Clinton’s “management,” Judicial Watch reported (April 7, 2014): “The Pentagon somehow lost $6.6 billion sent to Iraq for post-invasion ‘reconstruction.’”
The State Department’s inspector general disclosed after a federal audit the fraud perpetrated on American taxpayers. Judicial Watch questions if the money “disappeared” into Hillary’s presidential campaign fund.
The article itemizes specific dollars allotted for particular contracts that were either deemed “incomplete” or no documentation could be found for the reason of the payments. One deal included $52 million for another State Department contractor employee’s spouse.
Documents were shredded, and many were “improperly filed.”
The Washington Times (April 4, 2014) wrote of the inspector general’s alert: “The failure to maintain contract files adequately creates significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the department’s contract actions” and, the report concluded, “creates conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt to conceal evidence of illicit behavior by omitting key documents from the contract file.”
Hillary’s consistently proven lack of judgment and any management skills is lethal when considering the Clinton’s inherent greed.
Discussion on that greed, including the slush fund of the Clinton family’s foundation, is next week’s topic.
Betty Arenson has lived in the SCV since 1968 and describes herself as a conservative who’s concerned about progressives’ politics and their impacts on the country, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She says she is unashamed to own a gun or a Bible, couldn’t care less about the color of the president’s skin, and demands that he uphold his oath to protect and follow the Constitution of the United States in its entirety.

WTF, who is the reall Trump or Cruz or Sanders. At least Clinton has been vetted since she first entered the public foray. Conservatives have tried for 25+ years to tear, besmirch and demean this woman’s record, she is a Phoenix. If shaken, she doesn’t fall; she rises better than before. I dare say she has a spine of steel, thick skin and the wherewithal to be our president. The same cannot honestly be said about her lesser opponents.
