Update April 16:
LASD Homicide Bureau Detectives, investigative personnel from the Coroner’s Office, and members of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station Search and Rescue Team conducted a thorough search of the area and found more human remains in the area where a human skull was found yesterday.
Clothing found on and around the remains seem to indicate that the remains are female, but actual identification will be established through dental records.
Original story, April 15:
Homicide investigators were still trying to identify a decomposed body found last Wednesday in San Francisquito Canyon when more human remains were discovered in Palmdale.
Detectives responded Sunday afternoon to the 6200 block of West Avenue N in Plamdale, where the new remains were found.
Anyone with helpful information about either body is asked to contact L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives at 323-890-5500.
