Strike up the band! Ready the flags! The largest and longest running band and color guard competition in the SCV is coming to town.

The 33rd Annual Hart Rampage takes the field at College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 29.  This much anticipated event, hosted by the award-winning Hart Regiment Marching Band & Colorguard of Hart High School, is your chance to see 35 band and color guard teams on the same day at the same venue, including all six local high school bands from the William S. Hart Union High School District.

This popular field show competition is judged by the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association (SCSBOA). High school band and color guard teams from all over Southern California participate at Rampage to earn scores which can qualify them for the SCSBOA Championships held in November. Under the direction of Anthony Bailey, the Hart Regiment has earned an unprecedented 12 SCSBOA State Championship titles in their division. This year, Hart performs their new field show titled “Bittersweet Symphony.”

We hope you join us for this fun-filled day of great family entertainment. With over 3,000 student musicians and dancers participating, what a tremendous showcase for the performing arts! Come see these creative and exciting field show performances, each with their own themed music and costumes. The day-long performances conclude with the crowd favorite mass drum line, followed by the formal awards ceremony. There will be food and merchandise vendors, along with many items to be raffled, including restaurant gift cards, amusement park passes and much more. Don’t miss this one opportunity to see all six local marching bands perform at a single event.

Rampage is the primary fundraiser for the Hart music/color guard program and is run entirely by volunteers. Thank you, in advance, for your support. We hope to see you at Rampage.
