Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s locked vehicle (1997 Honda Civic, 4-door, green in color) while parked at the location.
Grand Theft – 23700 block of Valle Del Oro
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle (1999 Honda Civic, four door, grey in color) while parked at the location.
Petty Theft – 23700 Lyons Ave.
Person(s) unknown forced open a lock to the vending machine located inside the business. $50 in coins (U.S. currency) were stolen from the machine.
Grand Theft – 24500 Kansas St.
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle (2002 Ford E150 Van, white in colo,) while parked at the location.
Grand Theft – Newhall Ave / Sierra Hwy.
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s locked vehicle (2007 Chevy Silverado, white in color,) while parked at the location.
Commercial Burglary – 20500 Peachland Ave.
Person(s) unknown shattered the front entrance glass door and stole numerous bottles of prescription medications from a locked dispensing area.
Vehicle Burglary -22400 Market St.
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s locked vehicle and ransacked the victim’s glove box. Nothing appeared to be stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.
It can take seconds for a thief to steal something from your car, so never leave valuables inside. Most vehicle crime is preventable. Don’t make your car a target for thieves by leaving such sought after items such as purses, wallets, lap top computers and cell phones in plain view. Always check you have closed all your windows and locked the doors before leaving your car unattended. While there’s no surefire way to totally prevent your car from being broken into keeping these tips in mind can make your car less of a target.
