The application window for Non-Transferable Tax Credits for TV Projects is open from February 10 to February 17, 2017.

The tax credits apply to the following:

1. Relocating TV Series
2. TV Projects – New TV Series, TV Pilots, MOWs, Mini-series, Recurring TV Series. (Note: All pilots and new TV series require pick up orders.)

Applications are ranked within categories (TV Projects vs. other TV Projects; Relocating TV vs. other Relocating TV) based upon their “jobs ratio” score.

Projects that rank in the top 200% (double the number of projects for which funding is available) will be notified by February 21, 2017 to submit Phase II documents.

The online application portal will go live Friday, February 10, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. and will close on Friday, February 17, 2017 at midnight. The CFC will be closed the weekend of February 11 to the 12 with no telephone support available; please plan accordingly.

Applicants should begin to prepare their budget and materials early; they will need a completed and tagged budget in order to fill out the application.

Be sure to carefully read the Budget, Tagging, & Tracking Tips for your project type so that you can accurately tag your budget. Credit Allocation Letters will be issued March 20, 2017. No costs qualify prior to that date.

Applicants should prepare all materials listed in the Checklist as you will be required to submit these within three days if your application is selected.
