We where right behind this, where stuck on freeway for about 2 hours, until we where able to reverse car and get out. A nightmare for us a tragedy for the family of this person, may he now rest in peace.

Joni Spannenberger did about this mom, I take that way to get home from work everyday and I was stuck in the traffic, didn’t get home till 6:30.. I was on the 210 at around the scene and it must have just happened minutes before I drove up..
His father a well known Latino journalist in the United States passed away in October 2015. Now he rests in paradise with his father. He was also an employee of Telemundo 52 in Los Angeles.

I’m so sorry. That’s such a lethal area on the freeway with so many jockeying for different lanes to get to the 5 and the 14. Been there and I’m always a bit stressed til I get through the pass. Prayers for their family.

Very sad. Yep, I was stuck in the traffic for hours but that’s nothing. I was stuck behind the flatbed truck carrying the vehicle he died in. That makes your heart hurt. So sorry for the loss his family is going through.
