Free spooktacular events will be brewing at local Santa Clarita Public Library branches on Monday, Oct. 31. Boys and ghouls of all ages are invited to attend the festivities which will include the following Halloween-inspired activities on Monday:
* Costume Parade at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Valencia Library. Families are invited to join in on this family-friendly costume parade.
* Halloween Scavenger Hunt from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Library and Valencia Library. Families are invited to don their Halloween costumes and join the scavenger hunt to solve riddles for a special treat. Attendees will also enjoy spooktacular stories and other fun surprises.
In addition, Halloween Story Times will be offered at all three library branches with librarians reading spooky stories in celebration of Halloween. For more details and a full list of fall story times, visit santaclaritalibrary.com.
