The Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority is conducting a 2-hour, early morning wildflower hike Saturday, April 7, in Whitney Canyon, starting at 8 a.m.
“Wildflowers aren’t only beautiful; they are also extremely useful, as native Americans have known for thousands of years. Learn just how useful as we explore Whitney Canyon.”
Hikers should meet outside the front gate at 20303 Newhall Ave. (just past the Newhall park & ride at the 14 Freeway).
