On Friday, September 25, 2015, Canyon High School hosted a football game against Saint Francis High School. When the Saint Francis High School football team returned to the guest locker room following the game, six students reported their ‘beats’ headphones, along with some U.S. currency and miscellaneous items had been stolen.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station was notified and an immediate investigation was conducted. Review of the security video footage assisted detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and the Canyon High School resource deputy with identifying two juvenile subjects responsible for the thefts.
These subjects were contacted by detectives and they both admitted to stealing the items. The two subjects were detained at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and released to their parents.
All six of the stolen headphones were recovered and returned to the victims.

That is no way to treat guests. Shame on them.
Wow, way to make your parents proud!!!
And then there is guys like Chris Ments…
you two should be ashamed of yourselves!!!
Wow that sucks! It might not happen but I hope they find the idiots! Or reimburse the kids!
This is so disheartening, my son is a freshman football player at Canyon and I couldn’t imagine this happening to him while playing at another school. Nice way to make Canyon look bad kids
That’s wrong!
Should be a security camera in that locker room anyway. You mean there’s not?
Security camera in a locker room? Where children change..? Lol…. there needs to be more security period! Other than the one supervisor that sits by the weight room that whole campus is empty during a game and those locker rooms are always unlocked.
They caught 2 of the thieves and they admitted it & returned the 6 pair of expensive headphones that they stole because of the security cameras
We’re they Canyon students?
Yes
Was it kids from Canyon high that stole?
Read the link ppl!!
It’s this kind of stupid crap that gives the SCV and its schools a bad name. Hopefully they got something more then a Saturday school.
