Oh no!! My heart breaks upon hearing this??!! So saddened ?, wonder which one got struck!! I’m so sad to hear this, it’s been their home for a long time and now this!! As if it’s not enough to take over their territory, they also have to be oblivious when they’re driving that they can’t see they’re about to hit a bear ???!! Horrible!! I wish people were more considerate of our wildlife, that they respected and cared for it ??!!
Marla Fuentes, I agree it is sad ? and we are taking over their home, but that is a busy road an I could see how it would be hard to see him if he jumped out of nowhere. There’s no easy solution to this. Unless we start putting up bridges for the wildlife to cross.
That would be so amazing!! The least humanity could do for our wildlife ??. So much we’ve taken from them! They probably feel misplaced at times, in their own home!!! I hope the hit wasn’t bad and it is able to recover from it ??????

I hope he was OK. I know when I drive through upper Placerita Canyon in the evening, I drive slowly because there are a lot of deer hit up there. sometimes speeding cars ride right on my tail until I can find a safe place to pull over so they can pass. I wish everyone would be more respectful of our wildlife.
We just caught a gopher snake a few days ago and took it out to the national forest so someone didn’t think it was dangerous and kill it. So sad. They eat mice and rats, and I’d have loved to keep it around, but was afraid our dogs would hurt it—or the neighbors!
