The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Arson Unit are continuing their investigation of a trailer fire that occurred on Sierra Highway last month.
Whether the trailer was set ablaze by those who stole it is not known, and there are no leads that would identify the suspect or suspects, said Greg Everett, the LASD Arson Unit’s lead detective on the case.
The trailer was stolen from Agua Dulce Storage in Agua Dulce at around 3:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, according to the trailer’s owner.
There are no witnesses to the robbery, but there is video camera footage of the suspects entering the facility in a pickup truck and leaving with the trailer, according to the trailer’s owner.
The trailer was found burning on the 22800 block of Sierra Highway at approximately 8:45 a.m. Friday, July 31st.
The origin of the fire came from the front of the trailer, Everett said.
