Proceeds will go to Family Promise, which helps homeless children and their families in the SCV.

Tickets are $30 each for adults and $15 each for kids 2-18 and include drumming, food and drinks. Kids younger than 2 will be admitted free.

To register, click-tap here.

Remo Drums is located at 28101 Industry Drive, Valencia 91355. The cross street is Hasley Canyon Road.

Family Promise brings shelter, meals, and support services to families without homes. Family Promise is a cost-efficient, effective community response to family homelessness, according to its website.

Here’s more from the website about Family Promise and how the organization helps local families in need:

Host/Support Congregations
The hosting of families rotates weekly among the Host Congregations in the Network. Each host congregation provides overnight stays, three meals a day, and caring hospitality. Volunteers provide the meals, supplies and support.

Day Center
Guests use a local Day Center where the Family Promise Executive Director and Case Manager provide case management services. There, guests pursue employment, tend pre-school children, shower, and do laundry. The day center provides guests with a mailing address and a base for housing and employment searches. Some guests are employed during the day, while older children attend school.

Transportation
Our Family Promise van transports guests between the host congregation and the Day Center. Family Promise also uses the van to provide school pick-up and drop-off to any children who do not have any other transportation options.

Social Service Agencies
Family Promise works in collaboration with other Social Service agencies. Local social service agencies refer families to the program and may also help guests find or provide housing, jobs, and other needed services.

Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to our success and provide a wide range of services like cooking and serving meals, playing with children or helping them with homework, interacting with guests with respect and compassion, and providing overnight security.
