A tip from a citizen resulted in the arrest of a Valencia man suspected of selling marijuana to a minor at a Saugus park, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.

Here’s more of the story from the station’s social media:

“You gave us a tip about an adult who was allegedly selling marijuana to minors in SCV — and J-Team deputies, Narco detectives were all over it.

“Suspect Evan Galien, 23, of Valencia, was arrested last Wednesday afternoon at a Saugus park after reportedly selling marijuana to a male juvenile.

“In the suspect’s vehicle, deputies found marijuana, and over 60 concentrated marijuana cartridges, commonly used in vape pens.

“Galien now faces a felony charge for his actions.

“If you know of anyone who is selling marijuana to minors or involved in illegal activity, we want to know. Help us protect our kids. Submit tips, and remain 100 percent anonymous by using LA Crime Stoppers website, www.LACrimestoppers.org or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Provide the tips and leave the rest to us.”
