The College of the Canyons women’s soccer program invites boys and girls ages 5-12 to take part in the 2015 Cougar Soccer Summer Camp, running June 22-26.

Open to beginning and intermediate level players, that camp will provide attendees an opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of the game and/or improve their current skillsets.

The basic skills and fundamentals of soccer will be introduced and covered in full detail, including: passing, receiving, shooting, defending, dribbling and ball conduction.

Camp sessions will be led by COC women’s soccer head coach Justin Lundin and assistant coach Charles Martinez, along with players and alumni from both the COC men’s and women’s soccer programs.

The Cougar Soccer camp will take place daily from 5 to 8 p.m. beginning Monday, June 22, and concluding Friday, June 26. All sessions will be held on the COC soccer field, located on the college’s Valencia campus.

Campers will be charged a registration fee of $125 per player.

For families with multiple camp participants, a second child will be $115 and a third will be $105.

Teams with seven or more participants will be charged a $95 per player registration, if registered together.

Campers that register prior to June 15, will receive a COC soccer T-shirt and soccer ball.

Attendees are encouraged to bring soccer cleats, shin guards, sunscreen, water bottles, a soccer ball and a snack.

Space for the 2015 Cougar Soccer Summer Camp will be limited.
