Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit

A vehicle burglary occurred in the shopping center at the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The victim parked her vehicle in the rear of the shopping center and left her purse on the floor board of the vehicle. The suspect shattered the front passenger window of the vehicle and stole the victim’s purse which contained her wallet with all of her identification and access cards.

A petty theft was reported from the a business on the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The suspect took 2 bottles of liquor and left the location in a black 2014 Nissan Altima.

Please remember to lock your car doors at night. There have been several reports of thieves checking car doors to see if there open. Also, remove any visible items that would be attractive to thieves such as iPads, cell phones and purses.
