Rancho Camulos Museum’s historic lecture series continues May 2 when Phyllis Hansen, San Fernando Valley historian and writer, presents an exhibit of the work of Orpha Klinker.
Klinker was an accomplished California artist and preservationist noted for her portraits and plein air paintings.
Hansen will reprise Klinker’s “Speaking of Pioneers Series” of 1937, which includes a display of her historical portraits. Several of the pieces include Del Valle family members and Rancho Camulos scenes.
The $5 suggested donation includes a docent-led historic tour. Reservations are not required but are appreciated; Call (805) 521-1501 or email: info@ranchocamulos.org.
