Once again, KHTS and Power Honda are partnering with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station for their holiday toy drive, with a festive and musical kickoff planned tonight from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Bring unwrapped toys to Power Honda (on Magic Mountain Parkway south of Valencia Boulevard) and enjoy the sounds of musical groups from schools all over the valley. Even Santa has scheduled a stop to listen to the children’s wishes.
Those scheduled to perform include:
4 p.m. – Santa Clarita Christian
4:15 – Trinity Classical Academy
4:30 – Santa Clarita Honor Choir
4:45 – Mint Canyon Community School
5 p.m. Golden Valley High School Band
5:15 – Leona Cox Elementary School
5:30 – Mitchell Elementary School
5:45 – Fair Oaks/Golden Oak Elementary Schools
6 p.m. Sulphur Springs Elementary School
6:15 – Plum Canyon Elementary School
6:30 – Rio Vista Elementary School
6:45 – Valley View Elementary School
The Sheriff’s toy drive will continue through the month of December. All toys and clothing donated should be new and unwrapped; gift cards valued at $20 or more will also be accepted. Donations may be delivered to the sheriff’s station on Magic Mountain Parkway and placed in the specially-decorated box the lobby.
