West Ranch High School Theater

The West Ranch High School Studio A Jazz Band, the West Ranch Lab Band, and the Wildcat Combo will perform at the West Ranch High School Winter Jazz Concert on Friday, Jan. 27. Featuring compositions by Gordon Goodwin, Dave Brubeck, Sammy Nestico, Pat Metheny, Bob Mintzer, and Bill Holman, the talented student musicians comprising these ensembles, under the direction of Brian Leff, will provide a delightful evening of entertainment.
Over the years, the Studio A Jazz Band has been invited to play at the California Music Educators Conference, the Next Generation Festival of the Monterey Jazz Festival, and as an annually featured group at Disneyland.
Brian Leff is the Director of Jazz Studies at West Ranch High School, and is in his first year teaching. Previous to joining the West Ranch faculty, Brian earned his Masters in Music Education from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
