Auton Motorized Systems, a local manufacturer of motorized television lifts, has switched locations in Valencia.
The company said Wednesday it has sold its 22,000-square-foot building in the Valencia Industrial Center and moved its manufacturing and sales operations to a newer, state-of-the-art facility at 29102 Hancock Parkway.
The original location was in the city of Santa Clarita; the new building is west of Interstate 5 at Castaic Junction in unincorporated Los Angeles County.
“The new building is in a much newer industrial park, it has the amenities and a modern infrastructure that are crucial to service our customers in a quick and efficient manner and, at the same time, it is much more energy efficient,” said CEO Virgil Walker, who founded the automated television lift industry in 1955.
Auton is the inventor of numerous automated rack and pinion systems including its signature Wireless Remote Television Lift.
