Top Ten Reasons To Attend

Child & Family Center’s Kid Expo
Sunday, October 13

#10 – Visit over 100 interactive exhibit booths of local businesses which provide products or services for children in Santa Clarita. Booths offer a variety of information and entertainment for the kids including spin-the-wheel for prizes, arts & crafts, sports activities, face painting and free prizes.

#9 – Take a walk on the wild side at the Animal Tracks live animal show. Get up close and personal with a kangaroo, orangutan, alligator, python, possum, ferret, baboon, wolf, scorpion, tarantula, kookaburra, chinchilla and a monkey.

#8 – Have a jumpin’ good time in the bounce house or try navigating your way through the inflatable obstacle course.

#7 – Enjoy a full day of live stage performances by kids doing karate, dance, acting, singing and gymnastics.

#6 – Enjoy great food courtesy of Burger King, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Rita’s Italian Ice.

#5 – Shake hands or have your picture taken with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. See Chipper – the California Highway Patrol mascot and sit in a CHP squad car.

#4 – Shake rattle & roll in the Shakey Quakey Earthquake House and see a hook and ladder truck from L.A. County Fire Department.

#3 – Feed carrots to the horses and brush their coats, courtesy Wildwood Equestrian Center.

#2 – Show our returning veterans that you care by painting flower boxes for the Habitat for Heroes housing project.

#1 – Spend the day with your family while supporting Child & Family Center, which provides mental health services to children and families in Santa Clarita.

Child & Family Center’s tenth annual Kid Expo is Sunday, Oct. 13, at Golden Valley High School, 27051 Robert C. Lee Parkway in Canyon Country, from 11am to 4pm. Admission is $3 for each adult and FREE for children. The title sponsor of the event is Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Each year over 6,000 attend this much anticipated event. Every dollar raised goes directly to Child & Family Center, which provides mental health and behavioral services to over 600 local children each week.

Kid Expo features over 100 exhibitors from the Santa Clarita Valley showcasing services and activities for children. From sports to karate, dance to art, gymnastics to books and tutors, kids and parents can discover the many activities available for kids.

See who will be there.
