Marvin O’Dell

Marvin O’Dell

Join us Thursday evening, June 19, for a night of award winning Western Swing music with the talented and engaging five-piece ensemble, the Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers.

Leader Marvin O’Dell received two major awards this spring. In March, The Academy of Western Artists (AWA), presented him the Will Rogers Award for his best original western song, “Don Edwards for President.”

In April, he received the 2014 Wrangler Award presented by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum for his work as producer on the Award-winning Western Album, “Just Gotta Be a Cowgirl,” by Mikki Daniel. She is the youngest ever to receive the prestigious Wrangler Horizon award, and it is a great honor for her first CD to receive this recognition from the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

About the Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers

redhot1This multi-award winning 2012 Western Music Association and Academy of Western Artists Western Music Group of The Year is the band that performs classic and traditional Western music, as well as their originals, to audiences throughout the West. Their performance will include original music from their “Silver Screen Project” celebrating the movie cowboys as well as red hot swing!

Nominated again in 2013, the Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers combine the talents of Audrey McLaughlin, Gale Borre Rogers, Dawn Borre Pett, Tom Boyer, and Marvin O’Dell. Their fun-filled show of Western swing and cowboy tunes delights audiences of all ages. Enjoy songs of the West: old favorites, originals and the music of the B-Western movies.

The award-winning harmony of Audrey McLaughlin, Gale Borre Rogers, and Dawn Borre Pett will leave you wanting more! The Chet Atkins inspired finger-playing of WMA nominated 2013 Instrumentalist of The Year, Tom Boyer, always astounds. WMA Songwriter of The Year and lead vocalist, Marvin O’Dell, captures the crowd with his lyrical stories and original songs. The Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers will entertain you from first note to last!
